Our Chapter

The Madison SAI Alumnae Chapter was founded in 1934 and received its national charter in 1956, marking 2023 as our 89th year as a chapter. We meet with the Patronesses of Rho Chapter.

Most of our members live in the greater Madison area, but we welcome any SAI member to our meetings. Our group works together organizing outreach projects, fundraising, supporting other musical groups in the Madison area, and providing scholarships to Rho Chapter students. The Madison SAI Alumnae Chapter includes leaders in the music community, music educators, composers, conductors, performers, and women whose main vocation is not music. We enjoy camaraderie and are united by our common interest in music and in furthering the goals of SAI.
