Madison Sigma Alpha Iota Alumnae Chapter
The Madison Alumnae Chapter was founded in 1934 and its national charter was in 1956. We meet with the Patronesses of Rho Chapter and we are a part of the Epsilon A Province along with the Milwaukee Alumnae Chapter, the student Rho Chapter at UW-Madison, the student Theta Iota Chapter at UW-Platteville, and the student Xi Chapter at Lawrence University in Appleton. We welcome any SAI to our meetings although most of our members live in the greater Madison area. Madison Alumnae Chapter members include leaders in the music community, music educators, composers, and performers along with women whose main vocation is not music (for example, we have a registered nurse and a plant biologist amongst our members). We are united by our common interest in music and in furthering the goals of SAI.
